Explore all of this while visiting some great cities; get to know about the Greek and Roman period in Alexandria. Before a Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan will take you deep into the history.

Itinerary

   

Welcome to Egypt; upon arrival, you’ll find our representative at the airport, who will help you through passport control and customs formalities.

Then he’ll transfer you to the hotel, help you check-in.

Have a good night.

   

In the morning, enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and get ready to be amazed. This is Egypt’s capital, Cairo, the most inhabitant city in Egypt, go early to avoid the traffic.

Visit the Egyptian Museum, where you can find thousands of original pieces of antiquities from deep history, telling stories about how great were ancient Egyptians. Also, don’t miss the Tut Ankh Amen section with all the treasures.

Then visit Salah El Dine Citadel; it was built to stand against crusades, while Salah El Dine was leading a huge army to face them; he gave orders to built such fortress. Later, Mohamed Ali Pasha had built a magnificent mosque in the 19th century between the citadel walls, Mohamed Ali Mosque.

Then visit Khan El Khalili, it’s an open market between some old streets in an old district, get yourself a good souvenir.

Then you’ll be transported back to the hotel; have a good night.

   

Don’t miss your breakfast today; you’re going to need all your energy for today’s visits.

Visit the Great Pyramids of Giza; three mega structures taking the shape of Pyramids were the tombs of three consecutive Kings, Cheops, Chephren, and Myckerinus. With a statue of a lion with a human head guarding the area, Sphinx.

Then you’ll travel by bus to Alexandria, about 220 km away.

Alexander the Great couldn’t miss such a spot while passing by, so he ordered to build this city, and became after the world’s first destination for culture and philosophy.

Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and enjoy a free afternoon to go around the city.

Wake up early, have your breakfast, then check-out from the hotel to start a unique tour in such a great city.

Start your tour by visiting Alexandria Bibliotheca; a modern library lies just on the Mediterranean beach, was built in 2002 to make us remember the original bibliotheca that was existing a long time ago. The library now contains a massive number of books in so many languages.

Then visit Kom El Shoqafa Catacombs, it’s a necropolis discovered in 1900, belongs to the Roman age.

Then visit The Roman Theatre, has a capacity of 700 to 800 of marble seats, it’s where gladiators games were held.

Then drive back to Cairo, check-in at the hotel, and have a good night.

   

After breakfast, check-out from your hotel; you’ll be heading to the airport to take a flight from Cairo to Luxor.

Upon arrival, you’ll start the city exploration immediately, no time to waste.

Start by visiting the Valley of The Kings, during the new Kingdom, Kings of Egypt were buried in this valley; you’ll be able to go inside three of these tombs.

Then visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, she was a great Queen, and she was the first woman to rule a nation in history. This Temple was designed by Senmout, who was her counselor, and some rumors said he was also her lover.

Then visit the two colossi of Memnon depicting another great King from the Egyptian history, King Amenophis III, and it’s all we have now from an old temple that had been destroyed.

Now you’ll have time to get rest and have lunch after going to the Nile cruise, check-in and enjoy your accommodation on board.

You’ll have a free afternoon to discover the city by yourself.

Then back to the Nile cruise, have your dinner, and have a good night.

   

After breakfast, you’ll start another day tour in Luxor.

Visit the Great Temple of Karnak; walk between 134 columns forming a maze, it was built by several Kings and Queens during 2000 years, starting by Senusret I in the Middle Kingdom, passing by Ramses The Great, till the Ptolemaic period.

Then visit Luxor Temple, built by Amenophis III and Ramses II 1400 BCE, to be where the King renews his Kingship.

Then back to the Nile cruise, enjoy all your meals onboard while sailing to Edfu via Esna Lock.

   

Have your breakfast on board, enjoy the sail toward Edfu, admire the color of the Nile.

Then hop off to visit Edfu Temple, dedicated to Horus, who is the sky guardian and symbolized as a Falcon; this Temple was built in the Ptolemaic Kingdom between 237 and 57 BCE.

Then back on board, have lunch, and get some rest.

The boat will be sailing to Kom Ombo, where you’ll visit Kom Ombo Temple, where also the Falcon exists but with the name of Haroeris, with the company of Sobek the Crocodile.

Then back to the boat, have your dinner while sailing to Aswan.

   

When you wake up, you’ll find yourself in a unique city, Aswan, have your breakfast, and get ready to explore.

Visit the High Dam; it was built to protect from Nile floods, and to produce electricity, producing Lake Nasser, the largest artificial lake in the world.

Then hop on a motorboat to visit a unique temple in the middle of the Nile, Philae Temple, it was relocated by UNESCO from its original place to Agylkia Island to save it from sinking. The Temple is dedicated to goddess Isis.

In the afternoon, enjoy a felucca ride between the Nile Islands.

Then back to the boat, have your dinner.

After breakfast, check-out from the Nile cruise.

You’ll be transported to the airport to take a flight from Aswan to Cairo.

In Cairo, you’ll check-in at the hotel.

Have a free afternoon to explore the capital like a local.

Good night.

   

After your breakfast, check-out from the hotel and move toward the airport to catch your flight back home.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation should be sent toTripidays Egy Tours by email, also an acknowledge email should be resent from Tripidays to the clients reconfirming receiving the cancellation and the following cancellation fees will be applied on the total package price:


From 45 to 30 days before your arrival, 25% of the total package price will be charged.

From 29 to 15 days before your arrival, 50% of the total package price will be charged.

From 14 to 07 days before your arrival, 75% of the total package price will be charged.

From 06 days and less, 100% of the total package price will be charged.


All cancelation conditions will be changed during Christmas, New Year & Easter periods


All domestic flight canceled within your program will be subject to the airline cancellation policy

Payment Policy

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the requested holiday. The confirmed tour will be secured upon receiving a deposit of 25% of the full price. The deposit will be increased to be 50% during Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays and all packages including flight issues. This deposit will be a part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). The rest of the full payment should be paid within 7 days from receiving your booking confirmation.
