Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, our representative will offer all the assistance you need through passport control.

You’ll be transferred to the hotel for checking in after, enjoy your welcome drink and have a good night.

Good morning. Make sure to eat your breakfast; you need your full energy for today’s tour.

The best way to start is to start big and that is with The Egyptian Museum, the biggest museum in the entire region exposing only one civilization. It beholds more than 100,000 original pieces of antiquities.

Our next visit is Salah El Din Citadel, built on a high cliff by Salah El-Din, the establisher of the Ayyubid dynasty in 1176. It used to be the seat of government in Egypt and protected it from many invaders.

Then Mohamed Ali built there an architectural masterpiece that goes back to the Islamic dynasty The Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali.

We will end the day with Khan El Khalili, an open market in the center of the old Islamic Cairo, where you can buy all that you need from souvenirs.

Lunch will be served during visits.

Return to the hotel, and have a good night.

Have a big breakfast, and get ready for the big tour.

The Great Pyramids of Giza is where we start our tour for the day. They are one of the seven wonders of the world, as they age over 4000 years old, they are the tombs of the three kings, Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, and of course, you can’t miss the lion bodied, human-headed Sphinx , guarding the tombs of the three pharaohs.

Then we are going to a site older than the Pyramids even, Memphis, the oldest capital in Egypt, it was the seat of power of Ancient Egypt. The Ancient Egyptians called it “Mn Nefer,” then the Greeks gave it its current name.

Sakkara Complex, the last visit for the day, where Zoser Pyramid, the oldest Pyramid ever built is, was created by the famous architect Imhotep in the 27th Century BC.

Lunch will be served during visits.

We are done with the day. Go back to the hotel to refuel your energy and Goodnight.

Start your day early, have your breakfast then check-out to take the flight to Aswan .

Our representative will meet you at the airport and take you to the famous Dahabiya. It means golden in Arabic; it is a luxurious old fashioned sailboat that sails with the wind without any engine. Enjoy one of a lifetime experience.

As soon as you wake up, you will start your tour with the High Dam . It was constructed during the ’60s of the 20th C. It was built to protect Egypt from the floods and drought.

Then, Philae Temple , it was moved from its original place to Agilkia Island, it was moved stone by stone, and it was dedicated to the goddess Isis.

After that, we will sail to Kom Ombo.

Kom Ombo Temple, our last destination in today’s tour.A unique shaped temple dedicated to 2 gods, Sobek, the Crocodile, and Haroeris, the Falcon.

Back to the boat to continue sailing. Goodnight.

We will sail to Gebel el Silsila, an ancient quarry that is hard to reach but easy with the Dahabiya. It is the home of stones that were used to build the Temple of Karnak , Kom Ombo site, and a lot more.

Then sail to Fawaza Island, a peaceful and green island in the middle of the Nile where you can enjoy a dinner barbeque.

Then go back to Dahabiya and spend the night on board.

After reaching Edfu, we will see Edfu Temple , built between 237 and 57 BCE during the Ptolemaic Kingdom, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Haroeris.

You’ll visit El Kab in the Afternoon. It is the oldest settlement of Upper Egypt and the home of Nekhbet, the vulture goddess of Upper Egypt. The site is called Nekheb in the Egyptian language in reference to the goddess.

Enjoy your dinner on Dahabiya as we sail to Esna, Goodnight.

Enjoy the day onboard sailing to Luxor. Make sure to relax.

Don’t worry about food. The meals will be served on board.

We will start our visits to this historic city, at the west bank.

The Valley Of The Kings: also famous by the valley of Gates of the Kings. As the pharaohs believed in the afterlife, they prepared their tombs for their next life. You will see the tombs of the greatest kings in this valley.

The Temple Of Queen Hatshepsut: it lays at Deir el-Bahari, it took 15 years to build, and it is considered to be the Queen’s greatest achievement.

The Two Colossi of Memnon, the two stone statues of king Amenophis III, were built facing east toward the Nile.

After we finish our visits, the Afternoon will be yours. You can take a tour of the city with no guide, and enjoy your free time.

Back on board, and have a goodnight.

After you finish your breakfast, you’ll visit the Great Temple of Karnak . It has about 134 columns that were constructed 2000 years ago, starting in the Middle Kingdom until the Ptolemaic period.

Then, Luxor Temple , located in the old capital of Egypt, Thebes, founded by Amenophis III and the great Ramses II. It was usually a place for worship over the ages.

The evening is all yours to enjoy.

Say goodbye to Dahabiya as it is your last night on it.

Have a blasted last breakfast on board.

After it, you’ll check-out from the Dahabiya and be transported to the Airport to go back to Cairo and then back home.
