Itinerary

   

As you arrive at Cairo International Airport, our representative will meet you there to assist you through passport control.

After that, you'll be transferred to the hotel to check-in and enjoy your welcome drink. Have a goodnight of sleep.

   

After you finish your breakfast. You'll enjoy a full-day city tour.

Start the tour at The Egyptian Museum that opened since 1902; it beholds more than 100,000 pieces of antiquities, including the contents of King Tout Ankh Amen's tomb.

After that, you'll go to see The three Majestic Pyramidsin Giza of kings Cheops, Chephren, and Myckerinus, guarded by the famous human-headed, Lion-bodied sphinx.

You'll enjoy your lunch during the visits to a local restaurant to experience modern Egypt.

Back to the hotel to spend the night.

   

Enjoy your breakfast, and get ready to follow the footsteps of the Holy family during their stay in Egypt for three years.

The first step we will take will be at Tel Basta (near Zagazig – 80 KM North-East Cairo), as the legend says that Jesus revealed a source of water at this site.

The next step will be Belbis. You'll visit Virgin Mary Tree, that as the legend says, Mary and her child took refuge at the foot of this tree.

Next head south to Mostorod, to visit El Mahama (means bath in Arabic), where Mary bathed her child and washed his clothes. You'll visit the Church of the Holy Virgin in this area.

Lunch will be served during the visits.

Time to return to Cairo to spend the night at the hotel.

   

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel then depart to Sammanoud and the ancient city of Iseum.

Then continue to Sakha to visit the church that has the "footprint of Jesus."

You'll head to Alexandria next, but you'll make a stop on the way at Rosetta (Rachid City) in which was discovered the famous "Rosetta Stone."

Lunch will be served during the day.

As you arrive at Alexandria, you'll make a visit to Montazah Palace Garden that has magnificent gardens and a view overlooking the sea.

You'll be transported to the hotel after that to check-in, enjoy your dinner and have a goodnight.

   

Check-out from the hotel after breakfast; you have a couple of historical places to visit before you go.

The Roman Theatre, it was a common feature in the Greco-Roman period to build these theatres; this one is the only one of its kind in Egypt.

The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a historical archeological site, and one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.

You'll hit the road to get back to Cairo, but we will make a couple of visits on the way

You'll stop at Wadi El Natroun to visit its monasteries,including AnbaBishoy Monastery, St. Mary Monastery, AnbaMakarius Monastery.

Keep in mind that monasteries are sometimes closed during fasting periods, according to the Coptic calendar, dates to reconfirm.

You'll have your lunch either during the visits or at one of the monasteries.

As you arrive at Cairo, check-in to a hotel to spend the night.

   

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel before you head to Old Cairo to visit some iconic destination of Christianity in Egypt.

Visit the Hanging Church (el Moalaqua) of the Virgin Mary, St. George Church, St. Barbara Church, Virgin Mary Churchis known as "Kasriet El Rihan( Basil Pot Church ), "the Coptic Museum. The last stop is a religious but not related to Christianity, Ben Ezra Synagogue that gives us an idea about the Jews lives in Egypt.

Then our last stop today is the last stop of the holy family before they head to Upper Egypt, the Virgin Mary Church in Maadi.

Lunch will be served during the visits.

Now time to return to the hotel to have a goodnight of sleep after these holy visits.

   

After you eat your breakfast, check-out from the hotel.

You'll depart by bus heading south toward Minia, about 10 Km west of Maghagha; you'll find the Virgin Mary Church at the Garnous Monastery, where a deep well lies there that the tradition relates that the Holy family drank from it.

After that, you'll continue till you reach Bahnasa, another step of the Holy family, at a place called AbayIssous (Jesus House).

You'll head south again, crossing the Nile to the right bank to visit the church with the cave in which the Holy Family took refuge in, the Church of the Holy Virgin in Gabal el Teir.

Enjoy your lunch during the visits.

As you arrive at Minia, you'll check-in at the hotel and enjoy your dinner.

   

Check-out from the hotel after breakfast, so you can hit the road continuing south to Assiut.

On the way, you'll see a monastery called "Deir El Moharraq,"at GabalQuoskam, the Holy family passed through this place and stayed in a cave for about six months, now the cave becomes the altar of the old church, that lies in the west of the monastery that is called Holy Virgin. There is also a large stone in which Jesus sat on, and now it is the altar of the church.

Next, you'll head a little bit south to Gabal Assiut, known as GabalDronka, where you'll find the convent of the Blessed Virgin.

Lunch will be served during the visits.

As you arrive at Assiut, you'll check-in to the hotel to enjoy your dinner and a goodnight of sleep.

   

After you have your breakfast, you'll check-out so you can head to Abidos.

As you arrive, visitthe Temple of Seti I, a religious temple built by Seti I, the father of Ramesses II; he built it in dedication to Osiris.

When you finish this visit, resume the road trip to Denderah to visit Horus Temple.

Lunch will be served during the visits.

Continue by bus till you reach Luxor, where you'll check-in at a hotel and goodnight.

   

Check-out from the hotel after breakfast. Then depart by bus to have a tour in the West Bank.

The Valley of Kings, the major burial place for a period of nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC. It contains 63 tombs of significant figures of the Egyptian New Kingdom.

The Valley of Queens, the principal burial place for the wives of the Pharaohs.

Hatshepsut Temple, it took 15 years to construct this temple, it is the Queens most significant achievement, and she built it to immortalize her name after crowning herself as the Pharaoh of Egypt.

Two Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues of Amenophis III in front of his funeral temple that disappeared throughout the ages.

We will transfer you to the Nile cruise after that to check-in.

You can enjoy your free afternoon or attend the sound and light show at Karnak temple.

Enjoy your dinner on board, and have a lovely night.

   

Start exploring the East Bank, with the Great Temple of Karnak, the city of temples that was built over 2,000 years, dedicated to the gods, Amen, Mut, and Khonsu. The construction of this temple started in the Middle Kingdom and continued into the Ptolemaic period.

Secondly, visit Luxor Temple that used to be the home of the Roman Government in the area during their era. The temple uniqueness lies in the fact that it wasn't dedicated to a god like most of the temples.

Return to the cruise where all meals will be served to start sailing to Edfu.

   

Visit Edfu Temple first thing in the morning, a very well preserved temple; it is dedicated to the falcon-headed God Haroeris, the son of Isis.

Back to the ship to resume sailing to KomOmbo.

Visit KomOmbo Temple upon your arrival. A unique double designed temple dedicated to two Gods, Sobek, the god of fertility, and Haroeris, the god of the sky.

Don't miss your meals on the cruise. Have a lovely night while sailing to Aswan.

   

As soon as you finish your breakfast, we will take you on a tour in Aswan.

Starting with the High Dam, not an ancient construction but a modern one, its importance lies in the fact that it prevents the flooding of the Nile, therefore saving Egypt from many disasters.

Everything has a good side and a bad side. Resulting from building the dam, some temples had to be moved to higher places to save it as well. One of these temples is Philae Temple, moved to Agilkya Island stone by stone.

Enjoy an enjoyable experience while riding the Felucca in the Afternoon around Elephantine Island.

Have all your meals onboard. Goodnight.

   

Enjoy your breakfast, then check-out from the cruise. You'll be transferred to Aswan Airport to fly to Cairo.

Upon your arrival at Cairo Airport, you'll be transferred to the hotel to check-in and spend the night.

Any cancellation should be sent toTripidays Egy Tours by email, also an acknowledge email should be resent from Tripidays to the clients reconfirming receiving the cancellation and the following cancellation fees will be applied on the total package price:


From 45 to 30 days before your arrival, 25% of the total package price will be charged.

From 29 to 15 days before your arrival, 50% of the total package price will be charged.

From 14 to 07 days before your arrival, 75% of the total package price will be charged.

From 06 days and less, 100% of the total package price will be charged.


All cancelation conditions will be changed during Christmas, New Year & Easter periods


All domestic flight canceled within your program will be subject to the airline cancellation policy

Payment Policy

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the requested holiday. The confirmed tour will be secured upon receiving a deposit of 25% of the full price. The deposit will be increased to be 50% during Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays and all packages including flight issues. This deposit will be a part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). The rest of the full payment should be paid within 7 days from receiving your booking confirmation.
