Overview Tour

Here is an 8 Days journey in magical Egypt, the country of a great civilization. The trip will start at Cairo with a full day city tour to explore the various cultures within the city.


Then take an overnight train to Aswan, to enjoy the long way there, sailing to Luxor via Esna Lock, exploring the history that lays between.


Itinerary

   

Upon arriving at Cairo International Airport, you’ll find our representative waiting for you to help you through passport control.

Time to go to the hotel to check-in and enjoy your welcome drink. Have a good rest; Goodnight.

   

Have your early meal, and then check-out from the hotel. Let’s start a full-day city tour.

The Egyptian Museum , it is also known as the museum of ancient Egyptian Civilization. It houses more than 100,000 pieces of original antiquities, including the treasure of King Tut Ankh Amen.

Salah El Din Citadel, built by Salah El-Din, the establisher of the Ayyubid Dynasty, it was used as a defensive fortress and the seat of the government for several years. You’ll also find Mohamed Ali built based on the Ottoman Empire Islamic architecture in the 19th century.

Khan El Khalili, it’s a historical open market that lays in Old Cairo, where you can take a tour and buy souvenirs for your friends and family.

Lunch will be served during visits.

Our representative will take you to Giza Railway Station after the city tour, to take the overnight train to Aswan .

Enjoy your dinner on the train, and have a goodnight of sleep.

   

Good morning. Enjoy your breakfast on the train while you arrive at Aswan Railway Station.

Upon arrival at Aswan, visit the High Dam, which was built between 1960 and 1971 to rescue Egypt from the floods and drought, producing behind it one of the largest artificial lakes; Lake Nasser.

Then visit Philae Temple that was moved to Agilkia Island to save it from the inundation of water resulting from building the High Dam, the temple is dedicated to Goddess Isis.

You’ll be transferred to the Nile Cruise to check-in and have some rest.

In the afternoon, have a relaxing Felucca ride on the River Nile.

Return to the ship to start sailing to Kom Ombo.

Dinner and Lunch will be served on board. Enjoy your stay.

   

You’ll make a visit to Kom Ombo Temple first thing in the morning after breakfast, a unique double designed temple dedicated to two gods, Sobek, the god of fertility with a crocodile head, and Haroeris, the god of the sky and son of Isis.

Back to the cruise to continue sailing toward Edfu while enjoying your Lunch.

You’ll visit Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved temples. It is dedicated to the god of sky Haroeris, the falcon.

Back to the ship to enjoy your dinner while sailing through Esna Lock toward your final destination, Luxor.

   

As you arrive at Luxor , you’ll visit the attractions of the West Bank.

The Valley Of The Kings: there you’ll find the tombs of the greatest pharaohs from the 16th to 11th century BC. As the ancient Egyptians believed in the afterlife, they prepared their tombs for their next world.

The Temple Of Queen Hatshepsut , it is considered the Queen's most significant achievement. She built this impressive temple to immortalize her name after she crowned herself as a pharaoh of Egypt.

The Two Colossi of Memnon, they are massive stone statues of Amenophis III of the 18th dynasty; the Romans called it Memnon after the hero of the Trojan War from Greek Mythology.

Back on board to have your meals, enjoy your stay on board.

   

Good morning. Enjoy your breakfast before checking out from the Nile Cruise. You still have a couple of visits to make.

Starting with the Great Temple of Karnak , it was built gradually over 2,000 years, starting in the Middle Kingdom till the Ptolemaic period, dedicated to the god Amen.

After that visit, Luxor Temple, where the famous Obelisk of “La Concorde” was taken. The temple was built by Amenophis III then later on Ramesses II added to it.

When you finish the visits, you’ll be transferred to Luxor Railway Station to return to Cairo.

You’ll eat your dinner on the train and spend the night. Goodnight.

   

Have your breakfast on the train as you arrive at Giza Railway Station in Cairo.

You’ll make another city tour in Cairo, as there is a lot that you haven’t seen yet.

You can’t come to Egypt without seeing the Three Majestic Pyramids, which are three massive constructions for Kings: Cheops, Chephren, and Myckerinus. They served as tombs for their next world, as the Pharaohs’ believes. The Pyramids are guarded by the Sphinx that has a human head and lion body.

Then visit the ruins of Memphis, the first capital in ancient Egypt. It was founded by Menes, the first King of the third dynasty.

End the tour at Sakkara Complex to see one more pyramid, it belongs to King Djoser, but it’s known by “The step pyramid,” it was the first pyramid ever built.

Lunch will be served during visits.

Then you’ll be transferred to the hotel to check-in and spend the night.

   

Finish your breakfast then check-out from the hotel.

You’ll be transferred to Cairo International Airport to catch your flight back home. Hope to see you again.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation should be sent toTripidays Egy Tours by email, also an acknowledge email should be resent from Tripidays to the clients reconfirming receiving the cancellation and the following cancellation fees will be applied on the total package price:


From 45 to 30 days before your arrival, 25% of the total package price will be charged.

From 29 to 15 days before your arrival, 50% of the total package price will be charged.

From 14 to 07 days before your arrival, 75% of the total package price will be charged.

From 06 days and less, 100% of the total package price will be charged.


All cancelation conditions will be changed during Christmas, New Year & Easter periods


All domestic flight canceled within your program will be subject to the airline cancellation policy

Payment Policy

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the requested holiday. The confirmed tour will be secured upon receiving a deposit of 25% of the full price. The deposit will be increased to be 50% during Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays and all packages including flight issues. This deposit will be a part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). The rest of the full payment should be paid within 7 days from receiving your booking confirmation.
