Then fly to Luxor to take the Nile Cruise to Aswan and back, a trip with tons of history and lots of sailing.

Itinerary

   

When you arrive at Cairo International Airport, you will find our representative waiting for you to assist you through the regulations.

We will take you to the hotel for the check-in and welcome you with a typical welcome drink, then sleep tight to be ready for the great day waiting for you

   

Good morning. Enjoy your tasty breakfast and depart for a city tour.

Three Majestic Pyramids, where you will see the three tombs of the kings Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus, guarded by the famous noseless Sphinx, they are One of the Seven Wonders of the world.

Memphis: it’s the first capital of ancient Egypt and the seat of power of the ancient kingdom.

Sakkara Complex: there you’ll find the first trial of building a pyramid by King Djoser, which is known as “The Step Pyramid” due to its shape.

Stop for lunch in a local restaurant.

Then, back to the hotel for a goodnight of sleep.

   

Get ready for another city tour after breakfast.

The Egyptian Museum, one of the largest museums in the region; it beholds more than 100,000 pieces of antiques, including the golden mask of the famous king Tutankhamun and the statues of the three pharaohs; founders of the pyramids.

Salah El Din Citadel, one of Cairo’s top attractions, acted as a defensive fortress with its high walls and used to be the seat of the government for 700 years. You’ll also find Mohamed Ali Mosque, an Islamic architectural masterpiece that was built by Mohamed Ali Pasha in the 19th century.

Khan El Khalili: the historic open market that lays in the heart of old Cairo, where you’ll find the best souvenirs while having a walk.

Stop for lunch in a local restaurant.

We have finished our tour for today, and will get back to the hotel for some rest.

   

Wake up early as you have a plane to catch after you eat your breakfast and check-out from the hotel.

You’ll be transferred to Cairo Airport to fly to Luxor.

Our representative will meet you upon arriving to take you to the Nile cruise to check-in and have lunch.

Don’t waste the day resting; explore the city, and have a walk in the souq, which is the open market.

Make sure to return to the cruise for dinner. Goodnight.

   

After you enjoy your tasty breakfast, depart to visit the West Bank of the Nile.

The Valley Of The Kings: which acted as a major burial site for the royal figures of the Egyptian New Kingdom for nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC.

The Temple Of Queen Hatshepsut: it was built by the Queen to immortalize her name after she crowned herself Pharaoh of Egypt. The temple was modeled after the temple of Mentuhotep II but on a much larger scale. It has an extraordinary place surrounded by a mountain.

The Two Colossi of Memnon: they are massive stone statues that weigh about 720 tons and 18 meters high of King Amenophis III. They used to guard an enormous complex that lay behind them but disappeared over the years.

Then, you will return to the cruise for lunch while sailing through Esna Lock. Make sure to watch it.

The next destination is Edfu; enjoy your lunch, and have a lovely night.

   

After breakfast, you’ll visit Edfu Temple, which is considered to be one of the best-preserved temples. It is dedicated to Haroeris, the Falcon. You will find falcon statues everywhere and paintings of the famous falcon eye.

Make your way back to the ship so you can sail to Kom Ombo while having your lunch.

Visit Kom Ombo Temple, a unique double designed temple built in the Ptolemaic dynasty. It was dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile, god of fertility, and Haroeris, the Falcon, god of the sky.

You can skip the previous visit and keep it for the way back; it’s up to you.

Time to sail to Aswan, the target of the sailing, have a tasty dinner and a lovely evening.

   

When you finish breakfast, you’ll leave the ship for a couple of visits.

The High Dam: it was built between 1960 and 1971 to save Egypt from the disasters resulting from the flooding of the Nile. The Dam has produced behind it Lake Nasser, it is one of the largest artificial lakes in the world.

Then visit Agilkia Island, which Philae Temple got moved to, rescuing it from the inundation of the Nile after building the Dam. The temple was dedicated to the goddess Isis and was built by Greek during the Ptolemaic era. It also has some buildings dating from the Pharaonic period.

After the visits, return to the ship for lunch and some rest.

In the afternoon, depart to explore Aswan, have a tour around; the people are the kindest there.

Make your way back to the ship for dinner and a goodnight of sleep.

   

Get ready for a unique experience first thing in the morning; you’ll have a Felucca Ride around Elephantine and Kitchener Islands.

Then you’ll sail North again toward Kom Ombo and Edfu.

All meals will be served on board. Enjoy sailing.

   

Good morning, you’ll start sailing again through Esna Lock to Luxor.

Have a day off and relax on deck, don’t skip your meals.

   

Have your breakfast on board, then depart for a couple of visits.

The Great Temple of Karnak, which took 2000 years to be constructed; it was built gradually over the centuries. The temple was dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu.

Luxor Temple, built during the New Kingdom reign of King Amenophis III and continued later on by Ramses II 1400 BCE. It may have been the place where many of the Pharaohs of Egypt has been crowned.

Don’t miss your delicious meals on board, and enjoy your stay.

   

After taking your breakfast, check-out from the Nile cruise and get ready to be transferred to Luxor Airport to fly back to Cairo and then home.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation should be sent toTripidays Egy Tours by email, also an acknowledge email should be resent from Tripidays to the clients reconfirming receiving the cancellation and the following cancellation fees will be applied on the total package price:


From 45 to 30 days before your arrival, 25% of the total package price will be charged.

From 29 to 15 days before your arrival, 50% of the total package price will be charged.

From 14 to 07 days before your arrival, 75% of the total package price will be charged.

From 06 days and less, 100% of the total package price will be charged.


All cancelation conditions will be changed during Christmas, New Year & Easter periods


All domestic flight canceled within your program will be subject to the airline cancellation policy

Payment Policy

Reservations should be made as early as possible to book the requested holiday. The confirmed tour will be secured upon receiving a deposit of 25% of the full price. The deposit will be increased to be 50% during Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays and all packages including flight issues. This deposit will be a part of your final payment. Deposits can be made by bank wire transfer or paid using a credit card (Visa or MasterCard). The rest of the full payment should be paid within 7 days from receiving your booking confirmation.
